Who Are We
The 'Adelaide Comedy Showcase' on Friday nights at Rhino Room throughout the year and the 'Rhino Room Late Show' in Fringe are the 2 longest running shows in South Australia. We support Open Mic Night The Laugh Lab and help promote hilarious gigs all over Adelaide at a venue near you. Adelaide Comedy also provides mentorship and support for up-and-coming local acts. So your ticket isn’t just the key to a good night out, it’s helping raise the next generation of South Australian funny people.

How Do I become a Comedian?
The Adelaide Comedy community is always open to new blood having a go, you never know: you could be the next big thing! There are many avenues for new comics getting up and giving it a go. Monday nights at Rhino Room welcome any new talent to have a go on stage for One Mic Stand. Just bring along three paying guests at 7:30pm and a five-minute spot in the spotlight is yours.
If you work hard and show promise, the next step is being booked to support the big names on the other Adelaide Comedy shows.
Also check out Triple J’s Raw Comedy Competition in January of each year. Our own Adelaide comedian Demi Lardner won the national finals in 2013 and got to go to Edinburgh for their massive Fringe Festival.
Can we get discount for booking large groups?
We love hosting big groups here at Adelaide Comedy! If it’s for a birthday, a hen’s or buck’s night, an excuse to get all your friends out of the house or for work functions we can sort something out for you and your group.
