Rhino Room Late Show 26
The longest running show at the Adelaide Fringe is back for its 26th year in 2026, the legendary Rhino Room Late Show.
Featuring 100+ different comedians from across the festival over 10 shows. A brand new, hand picked lineup every Friday and Saturday of Fringe, 10pm to midnight.
It’s the home grown gala featuring the funniest of the Fringe in full flight. You never know who you might see live on stage or at the bar and we will never tell, until we are there. This one rule has given the Rhino Room Late Show its not-so-secret identity as a hotspot for the best in the biz to come and play alongside the hilarious stars of tomorrow in the home of Adelaide Comedy.

FORREST SHAW (USA): The Ocean Hates You!
Marine biologist and comedian Forrest gives a voice to the ocean—and it has notes.
Pollution, overfishing, climate change and plastic are just a few of the ways humans have managed to trash Earth’s most important ecosystem. Forrest breaks down how we got here and why the ocean has every right to be annoyed. But it’s not all doom. There’s extraordinary life hanging on beneath the waves; and actions can slow, even reverse, some damage.
With standup, multimedia and audience trivia—delivered with a healthy dose of dark humour—you’ll laugh, learn, and walk out feeling more in awe of the ocean… and more aware that while it may not be our biggest fan, it’s worth fighting for.

Lizzy Hoo – Says, Hoo?
Says Hoo? is a brand-new hour of stand-up comedy from your fave comedian Lizzy Hoo (now with short hair, yep she’s in her bob era). Are there moments in your life where you’re like “how did we get here?” Well Lizzy is. There are a few things she really just can’t get her head around. Her dog has a step mum – yep she shares custody of her rescue greyhound and now he (Owen best boy in the world) has a step mum – what a lucky dog! Lizzy is now obsessed with golf. She calls it prepping for retirement. And somehow she is getting paid to eat and travel. Oh and she broke up with someone at a cake shop – petit fours anyone? And she just updated her dating profile to say “big second wife energy”.

This show will contain no less than 20 excellent jokes, 3 delightful anecdotes, 2 illegal acts and 1 apology for Tim accidentally causing an absolutely dire current situation in his native Aotearoa.

Walking through the doors of the Rhino Room always reminds me of what I like about comedy. In the dirty little green room all are equal. Reputations are left at the door. New comics swap punch-lines with people you would normally only see on the TV. But if a comedian is killing on stage, then the backstage empties and every comic is found side stage, watching, laughing, riding the energy of the gig. The outside world doesn’t exist. It’s all about the show.

What I love about the Adelaide Comedy Gigs is that apart from the providing the opportunity to see top-line comedy acts at about half the price you would pay to see them during the Fringe. And as a regular comedygoer, it’s fascinating to watch the comedians (and even individual jokes) develop over time. Plus there’s the satisfaction of knowing that when some of the current crew make it big (which they will), I’ll be able to say “I saw them before they were famous…”
